Hallowed Thoughts

No one knows what I can see,
not the darkness, not the light, only me.
I see you trapped behind your walls, bricks of ignorence blocking the wind from calling your shame, stopping the world from seeing your pain, beliving it helps you, told its alright,
pluck out your eyes you'll have better sight.
I hear you Pacing your halls, treading down the beaten path as you blindly step over cracks,
underfoot and over leap,
destroying all for what you seek, what is your purpose? Where is your goal?
Why do you care for all that is gold?
What will it give you when you finally get old,
back to dust and earth and fire and dust.
No more with light and no more with cares,
no more with time to count all the tears.
When all is past, we will all be gone
and so shines on the light of the son.

Like the poem...for some people, hiding their pain helps them in their own way.....or the ones who hide their pain are healing their pain in another way(which would be cutting) and i know that by experience........sometimes people hide their pain until they're ready to let it show. it's not a bad thing really.....
