Simplicity Is Beauty

Folder:
Beauty

It is an appearance without vanity

A face that wears a glowing tone

Of eyes that twinkle as it smiles

A friendly welcome of serendipity.

It is found in the heart encompassing love

For a little act of kindness shown

Of genuine care sparingly sown

For those in distress, the needs are grand.

It is in the mouth that speaks the truth

Harmless speech, decent and with grace

Words of wisdom in her flow

Filled with compassion and sweet revere.

Duty and service that hands provide to humankind.

Are ways of love by reaching out to those in need

Every simple act done in true sincerity

For all its simplicity, there is beauty.

Beauty without vanity is a great poem and the world needs to see it.

This is another thought provoking poem, very well written with descriptive words. 'Simplicity is Beauty'...just like this excellent piece. Thank you for sharing these heartfelt lines.

hi there,
thanxs for leaving such kind words in my guestbook. So, here i am, wondering through the halls of your poetry. I have to say that this poem speaks volumes of truth. Sometimes, the more we try to adorn an object or beautify a situation, the result is never quite as nice as if it has been left untouched.

Do read my poem 'A Handful of Stars' for a similar poem like yours. Once again, a gem of words here in your poetry.

I will keep reading for more. Smilesz
