But sometimes they act
As more of a detour
Or end up diverting the lost.
This is why you must
Rely on the only True Guide
To direct your journey;
Trust His signs pointing
You toward hope and peace
And know that beside Him
You will never go astray.

I do agree with you on that point. I never said the detours were unintentional, just that they occur. Several of my poems touch upon what you said. Not so much WHY churches mislead but the fact that they do. Religion has gotten in the way of the message and resultingly so many people are turned off from the Gospel. So called Christians are the ones sending people to hell, not Satan.

I don't agree with you, most religions deliberately detour the lost souls. Why do they do it? money and politics, although religions in general are theocratic organizations and should have absolutely no part in politics at all, they do a large share of the misleading for the purpose of financial support from governments, and to rip off the poor.
It would benefit you to learn more about religious history before writing about it.
