Along the fault lines
Of the forgotten souls.
Our hearts shake
With the tremors of
The ones left abandoned.
Our callous indifference
Causes ripples along the
Fragile waters of sympathy.
The surmounting evidence
That reveals we are careless
Will boomerang back to us.
The earth will be split
Because of our increasing faults
That we allowed to develop.
We will end up in the pit
Where darkness prevails
And the punishment scorches.
