The Great Paradox

Perfectionism leads to disorder.

No one is perfect;

Anyone who claims to be

Is just deathly afraid of failure.

Fear itself is a disease-

Confronting these fears

Is what will make you healthy.

You must allow yourself

To be human and make mistakes

And in the process become

Happier than you once were.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Inspired by: "Remember that fear always lurks behind perfectionism. Confronting your fears and allowing yourself the right to be human can, paradoxically, make you a far happier and more productive person."
