Lessons Learned

You were in love with a voice

Conjured up in a dream,

Trapped on the screen,

That couldn’t be translated

Into reality.

She said all the right things,

But they were just fabricated lies,

Discovered when you looked in her eyes

And saw only emptiness.

you did this poem some how in dialogue form..its good and impressive way to do...hope you write same type more..enjoyed it , specially the stanza...down,

She said all the right things,
But they were just fabricated lies,
Discovered when you looked in her eyes
And saw only emptiness.
