I fell.
You heard the thud,
But you didn’t care
Enough to look up.
You just went along
With your day
Like I didn’t matter
To you.
The foreshadowing
To something worse
As I dissolved
Into concrete floors
Making myself
Invisible to you
And everyone else.
When I finally
Disappear completely,
Will you even notice?
The blankets
Left as cold clumps,
The clothing
Once hung in closets,
Just dusty piles.
I died.
