We point fingers

though our own hands

are stained with blood.



We place blame

on circumstance

on precedent



when we have the power

to change the world

or at least our own lives.



We are we so hard-hearted?

so unforgiving?

We have divine redemption.



Why can’t we pass on

the blessing we’ve received?

Pardon our offenders?



We should correct ourselves

to facilitate growth

before we notice our brother’s faults.



We’re all human;

anyone with a holier-than-thou

attitude is in the wrong with God.



Admit you’re not good enough

then people will seek

to be released of Sin’s chains.
