Fishers of Men

To catch the hearts of men,

You cannot use spears

And try to tackle them

Into submission.

They must be caught

With a gentle tug

Where the hook

Is the gospel message.

You begin to reel them in

By showing the peace

Of God’s ocean waters,

The beauty of His nature.

Once you encourage them

To bite on the line,

Lure them in with

God’s grace and mercy.

Then you must give

Them some slack

So God can resume

Drawing them to His rescue.
