Do not let others influence you

Do not be swayed by the masses

For the general public does not

Know what it means to be moral



Our ethics have been thrown out

By those that seek self-satisfaction

Forgetting that trying to be selfless

Is the truest pursuit of happiness

i really like this. i have the utmost respect for prose/poetry that actually has a message to it. and this is a message i feel is valid and can relate to as well.
