In the beginning there was nothing but an empty room, but then a simple little Coca-Cola car came by and decided to be part of the start. From little hot wheels cars, to famous singed stuff. This was everything all he cared about. Every time I passed by, and I saw him sorting out the new stuff he just got, I asked myself when is this ever going to stop? As the weeks passed by, new and more interesting stuff came along to join this wonderful house. There was one point in time, when he stop getting more stuff, and that’s when I asked him, why did you stop collecting stuff? He remained quiet for a while, and I decided to take a look inside and that’s when I realized he had never stopped. Sometime since this incident had passed, and I had a big test the next day, there was nowhere in the house I could concentrate, so I decided to go to this room and try to study there. In the middle of the study, I decided to look around, and that’s when I felt something strange under my chest. You could see how all this stuff was arranged in a certain way, most of the stuff was really old and you could tell it was from the past three or four decades. That’s when I realized all this stuff was from his childhood. Most of the stuff in this room, was really popular when he was younger, perhaps it brought some memories to him, which made him realized he got older. Now that I think about it old people say, “Time goes by really fast” so maybe he just wanted to feel a little as if he was younger. When I start thinking about when I was younger, I can’t remember much stuff, one thing I do remember is the fact I enjoyed playing soccer, but maybe that is because I haven’t been through much yet. Maybe all this stuff were things that made him happy, perhaps they still do, although I had never asked him the real meaning of this room, you can easily tell it is to enjoy life while you are young. Because when you grow up you will have to worry about other things rather than what you enjoy.
