I could go off

             on a rant

but I won’t

It would be so fucking cliché

and all the hipsters

would cream all over themselves

which is all good and well

           except

I don’t write for the elite

and I don’t write for any cliché

and hipsters can’t smell their own shit

      because

they’re so deluded

into thinking that it isn’t shit

but me, I don’t write

for pretentious urban hipsters

I write for the forgotten

I write for real human beings

those that breathe the air

and bleed red blood

some are fools

some are geniuses

but all are worthy of respect
