This was actually based on a dream sequence I recently had.  I jotted down notes at 3 AM and shaped the septolet the next day.  There may also be a related haibun on the dream as I did get some good notes jotted down in that nocturnal half sleep moment.  For additional reading check out this poem by Starward:
