Swinging Melody

Creak. Creak.

Whisper the branches of the tree

Hilding steadfast on a noose

The swinging melody

Drip. Drop.

Scream the teardrops of the eyes

That found the young woman

Swinging so high

Snap. Thud.

As the corpse falls to the ground

No one can look for too long

And no one makes a sound

Sigh. Laugh.

Sings the soul as it flies

Finally, Free as a bird

To soar through the sky

Author's Notes/Comments:

You spelled soar wrong, but thats okay! I liked it, kind'a reminded me of Robert Frost's "Branches" or whatever it was called though. Lolz.
