Holding barely ‘round the seams

Broken house, broken Dreams



The baby crying in the bed

Daddy’s trapped inside his head

Mommy left – forever gone

Brother’s working all day long.



Termites in the wood – Fleas in the bed

Previous owners long since dead

Leaks in the roof and cracks in the wall

Surprising the place is standing at all



No more kisses, no more hugs

Open mouths with silent screams
