Can't right the wrong

Folder:
old poems

Just one thought
a little fun
What's wrong with that?
A few false words slipping
past your lips
But they seemed so innocent
And it worked, you're home free
Though something pulls you back
You lower your eyes, hit with
the reality that you were wrong
A mistake that you can't
take back
Though you struggle, try to right
the wrong...it's too late
The damage has been done
and things have changed
Never to be again
So you run...out into the night
But shadows haunt you
Where ever you turn
You can't right the wrong

    You can't right the
          wrong
