I will love you until the sun dries up the sea--
Always and forever it's you and me
You make me strive to be all that I can be,
Even on my worst days you bring out the best in me
And even though you are such a beautiful lady--
I'm so glad that you decided to be my beautiful baby
You are the star in my sky--the apple of my eye
The kiss to my hug--you are my woman until I die
If I can fly--it is only because you are my wings
I have to crown you as my queen, you make me feel like a king
Your love is like a honeybee--I can feel it's sting
I must swallow your nectar, your honey is so sweet
And I promise I will not cheat on you, or beat on you, I'll never disrespect you
I only want to protect you--let us make love from the morning until the afternoon.
My love for you is true.
I like this poem. You were able to convey your feelings without resorting to cheesiness (which I absolutely detest in most love poems). I'm sure that the person you wrote this for (if you wrote this for anybody in particular) must be very flattered/touched by your words. And yes, again, the rhythm's good.
