Our night

Lets stay up all night and listen to the records spin
The off key music of the world will not interfere with ours
No fire..
No floods..
Or any war can take this night from us
Sip on whiskey to the sound of the night
And perhaps we'll finish this bottle faster than the first
We paint the walls with our memories....
We let them spill out like a dripping pen
A country mile from everyone we are but walking distance to your begging lips
The dogs howling at the moon are sharing our night to the cities around the world
We serve one purpose to the planet and that's to leave it some day
But tonight we drink and mind nothing outside these walls
And tomorrow we'll go back to preparing for a night like this...
Until the last day
