hooves beating on the hard packed earth
heart rushing,
gushing,
running from,
it's life's last heart beat.
a crack of fire and lightning and thunder, all at once,
from the two legged,
beast.
one last,
free leap,
before life's fire,
goes cold,
and the ashy embrace,
of death,
grips your heart.
never to enjoy life's beauty again,
atleast,
not in the same way.
