AWAKE
Awake in the silence ,
alone in my mind ,
what to make of this ,
how I became blind ?
Awake in this day ,
lost deep in thought ,
unsure what to say ,
my mouth pulled taut .
Awake in this time ,
No one to hear me cry ,
Left in sublime ,
As I ask Why , Why , Why ?
Awake in this moment ,
Cold and sick feeling ,
My thought full of tourment ,
I need to be healed .
Awake in this space ,
Alone in my mind ,
Lost deep in thought ,
No one to hear my cry ,

Why , Why , Why ?

My thought full of tourment ,
Great write, very deep. it is wired how a lone we can sometimes feel, but other times we can feel so loved.
I guess for us the Light always shines through but the Darkness always looms in the corner.
