Dear God, this is my letter to you.

I know that whatever I come to

you will see me through.

However, I find that the more my heart is shown

the more I seem to be alone.



I know that you're here with me Lord,

but as for heartache, I don't think I can take anymore.

Am I doomed to be alone all my life

or will you ever give me a wonderful wife?



Dear God, I hurt my friend the other day.

You see, I let my own blindness get in the way.

I should have known that girl wasn't for me,

so I prayed to you so I wasn't too blind to see.



I know that you're here with me Lord,

but as for heartache, I don't think I can take anymore.

Am I doomed to be alone all my life

or will you ever give me a wonderful wife?



Dear God, these feelings I have won't seem to go away.

Fear, jealousy, and anger are killing me day by day.

Lord, take these sinful things from me, make me new,

so that I see clearly to find someone, and be together with you.
