So, you want to ruin me

by putting me through misery,

but I am not even afraid

because Christ is with me!



You can't touch me.

You can't even see me.

I'll win this battle against your team.

There's nothing you can do

because he saved me!!!



You use your earthly ways

attempting to harm me,

but you'll meet your shame

because Jesus loves me!!!

You've knocked me down,

but watch as I'm on the ground

because Jesus Christ is around

ready to lift me up so I can fight.

You won't beat me tonight!!!

Author's Notes/Comments: 

There's some bad things going on for me right now, but you know, I have faith that Jesus Christ, who has saved me from my own sin, will lift me up and deliver me from this.  He will prove me innocent!!!
