Don't Cry Out

They can't know, you can't say a word

You'll go through this life utterly unheard.

All these faces, all these places are a blur

My life is taking to many devestating turns.

I can't escape, I can't run just yet

All I ask is that I'll be able to rest.

Finally put my mind to a deep, deep sleep

And never be awaken from my distorting dreams.

Leave me here, leave me here to bleed

It's all I'm asking of you, please.

I can't make it, I really don't know how

Kill me here, please, I won't cry out.

Such a frightening poem. The lines create a vision of pure and utter thought about an inner struggle. Truly a captivating piece.
