No More You

Love is so blind, sparks left to create light

The promises whispered in my ears, distant lies.

I thought this time was different, perhaps for real

You've dragged me into this ditch, I'm trying to deal.

I'm so tired of your fucking bullshit, your lies

I'm sick and tired of trying to make this alright.

You're not worth the fight anymore, to many wounds,

Have been left behind on my body, I'm fucking through.

I can't take the sharp stabs hitting directly on my heart

I'm so sick of feeling like my body, mind and soul is tearing apart.

You're not worth the fight anymore, I'm fucking through

Let's say goodbye to the past now, there's no more you.

How I can relate to this... you have no idea how much I truly can. I love the anger and the clarity in it. I especially love the last stanze; "Let's say good-bye to the past now, there's no more of you" -- that quote delivers a punch to the quarreler. It leaves them with a mark of discontent. I love the stanzes and words captured in your emotion. Truly captivating.
