Decay

You're rotting away in the ashes in which you lay

You're begging God to slowly wither, dissapear, and decay

The light is slowly fading through out the deserted house

Windows glistening softly, and yet, you're desprate to get out.

The voices of the people you know retorting in your ears

Piercing through any recollection of hope, only leaving fear

Your dreams are the only things giving you a sense of direction

But you can't help but feel, deep down, you've been completely abandoned.

They're trying to bring you down, you're covering up the scars

You're willing to make the run, no matter how long or far

Once you rise up from the ashes, they'll finally see their mistake

As you lie within the ashes of your past, dreams leaving you to decay.

These words are hard to describe... they leave me with a real feeling of something... conveying my true beliefs. Amazing is all I can gander to say. Truly amazing.
