Camouflage

It's hard to hide who you are, the mask is slowly withering

It's hard to know who you are, you're slowly dissapearing.

Shrowded in the shadows, you're left alone in the dark.

Guarded yourself from others, putting up walls around your heart.

Sometimes it's easier to conceal yourself, hide away

It eases the madness inside your mind, let's all fade.

You're stuck in camouflage, no one can really see

What you're hiding deep down, what you're conealing.

Shrowded in the shadows, you're left alone in the dark.

Guarded yourself from others, putting up walls around your heart.

Sometimes is easier to give up, let the world pass on by

Sometimes is best to give up, forgetting the past that haunts your mind.

"Shrowded in the shadows, you're left alone in the dark"

I love that verse... I'm not quite sure why.
But I can indeed relate to it.

"Guarded yourself from others, putting up walls around your heart."

This I can most definitely relate to xD. I love this poem for more than one reason... the title especially. Camouflage is one of those words that has so many meanings in Latin context... I think in Greek it once meant, "The invisible soul".
Fascinating how a word can express so much in three syllables. Excellant work.
