Rain On Me

I'm running out of places to run to

I wish I could lie awake, will it all away

I'm running out of ideas on what to do

The clouds no longer seem to fade.

I'm lying in a completely dazed state

The rains falling, the skies crying for me

Theres no words left to ever say

Is God crying for me? Am I to blind to see?

Rain on me, wash it all away, please

Take away whats left of my memories

Rain on me, take it all away, please

Wash away whats left of my memory.

Captivating. Completely and totally captivating. Truly. This poem leaves me in an awe. I love the symbollism of rain, washing away, and distinct memories of the past. You really can captivate so much in your symbollism. Purely amazing.
