Cracked Memory

I can put on a pretty good show

I know just the words to say

But no one would ever even knows

The memories that cut within my brain.

Scars of a past life still burn

And they never seem to fade

They've constantly left and returned

Without a warning; they won't go away.

Somewhere in my fucked up mind ---

I find resolve.

Somewhere in this fucked up life ---

I have a cause.

My life hasn't even begun yet

But somehow, I want this to end

I can't begin to explain this clearly;

What causes my broken and cracked memory.

Somewhere in my fucked up mind ---

I find resolve.

Somewhere in this fucked up life ---

I have a cause.

[Somewhere in this cracked memory;

My scars and wounds are all I see.]

What a very rhymatic pattern. It's quite beautiful. The words rhyme perfectly, and the sound it creates through words is exceedingly talented. Amazing, dear.
