Perfection Through Silence

My life is falling gracefully like the rain

It holds a beauty, and yet, a bitter distaste.

The silence seems so lonely, strangely;

I've never felt so wonderfully serene.

The clouds tell a story, so gray and angry

I feel as though I'm floating upon them, so angelically.

I ran my finger tips delicately upon the window;

I wish to gaze upon this brutal sky; a distant shadow.

A place to forget, a place within my mind

A place in my head, I'm losing track of time.

A place to let go of all the fears, my own crisis;

Within the falling rain, I find perfection through silence.

"A place to forget, a place within my mind"

I can most definitely relate to that one. Ilove the feeling and the imagery of rain and pain. The renewal is rain, the pain is what causes the renewal. I love the sorrow, the feeling, and the demise. The words drip with potent emotion.
