Lost Friendship

She was my friend

She is my friend

No one knows me like she did

No one knows

Of the secrets we shared

No one knows how she cared

We were Friends

Friends true

She and I

Such good times

Outside on a late winter night

Playing with the snow -as white as her plan face

And our eyes were the bright stars

In the sky above

We lie in the middle of the road

We lay there singing

The wind carrying our voices

Across the hills, with no end,

accompanying us with it's howling.

It became our song. Just between friends our song

We were to hang out once again,

That next Wednesday after school,

She would come and we would ride

But that Tuesday, the day before,

She decided she could stand it no more.

I tried to stop her but she ran away.

Therefore success no more.

They finally found her.

She had to leave,

And I truly had to greave.

She was lost and I was alone.

I could not help her on my own.

She had to leave.

Move away.

She told me,

She'd be back someday.

I hope to see her once again.

'Cause she was truly my best friend.
