Before the Railroad Came

Horses roamed the prairies

unobstructed by man

Hundreds and hundreds of them:

free to run

Before the west

was tamed

Before the railroad

came

their guardians watched

over them

protectors of the land

A forgotten race of people

before their genocide

kept the white man from

taking

what was theirs

If only we could bring back some of the old ways.

I once heard Russel Means say, "The only fair trade between the white man and the Indian was a liver for a lung." Sad but seems about right. People seem to disregard the genocide of the native peoples of this land.  Sure wish we could reform 'Merica with some native leaders who respect our beautiful Earth (and life). Let the horses roam free without being rounded up to make glue please. Course, that wouldn't really work in most places. I dunno. Throws hands up in air. I just wanna go horseback riding.

Thinking corporate government is a disease called greed. We need to find a cure!

Yeah they always center all

Yeah they always center all the attention around the jews instead while the others are ignored. Like the Armenia Genocide no talks about.  A coincidence? I think not.

I think not either.

And as genocide continues I still wonder... Where the true leaders are? When is the shift gonna happen? We seriously need to flip this script.
