Hugh Glass

You took

everything I had

and left me for dead,

my body is rotten,

but revenge keeps

me alive,

these scars will never

heal but I wear them with pride,

dissected I was, eaten alive,

Searching for heat, a body

to keep warm, but none

can be found that is not dead,

So many miles to go,

but I will find him,

where he hides like the coward

he is,

I will smoke him out of his cave,

take my blade and run it

through his heart,

And leave him to his fate,

let the river carry him

to his judgement.

And I will be never again,

alone at last to face my

end.

My name is Hugh Glass,

and I lived for Revenge,

to tell this tale of how

I survived only to die

again.
