I write to relate my life experience

In case someone somewhere out there is hearin and feelin this

I truely feel the good Lord has givin me a gift

So I feel it's only right to write words that help up lift

Help elevate the spirit and maybe open up a mind

For anyone that hears it and feels that it's genuine

I pour my everything into every last flow

Vent my life through my pen because it allows me to grow

And as I grow, it becomes easier to see

That my heartbeat is the rythm and my blood is poetry
