Strange Caress

Folder:
Love/Relationships

It's a strange caress tonight

that brushes my hair from my brow

and strokes my cheeks in serpent circles.

Watered down tears flood my breasts and

pleading hands draw me closer.

You hold my heart and stop my breath and

in an instant you melt my armour and

crumble these walls that hold so safe.

Danger calls and I come running.

Tonight I will sleep in your arms and

pray a million times that tomorrow

I will wake beside you and

dream of better things.
