Ominous time
hovering darkness scoffs
truth and falsehood fight it out.
Canopy
stirs remembrances
of soul's long journey in space.
Grecian myths
still live high above
faith conquers superstitions.
Legends stay
but only in stories
Real life has no place for them.
Love is still
the true saviour
if only most of us knew.
Lotus Lake
replays all those songs
which a houri* sang for me.
Such moments
scare away dangers
stalking my sad heart and mind.
