There's a lady who reads the stars

And believes in all their signs

And there's a lady who trusts in love

And is the very best of her time.

Love is God's language

Understood by one and all

The most beautiful light

That is error-free and bright.

Now tell me O you who have reason,

Wisdom, knowledge and insight

As to who is the better woman

In her God's majestic sight?

Now another one came along

And told me none was better

For they believe not in God

And waste their time in chatter.

She is wrong, this woman, who says

None of them has faith in God

For she has not understood my verses

And loves to sow discord.
