FEALTY AND LOVE

What fealty, What love, if it's bashing my head,
At your stony doorstep, O hard-hearted one?

*************

Grief and sorrow are a part of my life,
There is no heartache as I am quite immune now.

************

How to disclose how long I have wallowed in grief.
If I take into account the nights spent in sighs.

************

These ramblings of Sufis and your explanations O poet!
Had you not been a drinker you'd have been a saint.

***********

When no one is omnipotent than You,
Tell me O God, what's all this fuss?

***********

I too will prove that love is submission,
And ignoring the same is a way of life for you.
