ONLINE

We met online,

Our friendship grew,

Who we were,

We never knew.

We parted and met,

Not once but many times,

We met and then parted,

It was always online.

The green turned to brown,

The fig tree remained,

The ice caps defrosted,

I was the one blamed.

You drifted away,

While searching for me,

With your feet of clay,

You sought for me.

I was always there,

Online and waiting,

You changed your options,

While we were chatting.
