GOD AND MAN

You are God and I am man,

Does anything else matter much?

Does it matter where You are,

Within me, around or about?

All around matter I see space,

So many things remain unseen,

Within me too there is space,

Only in dreams is it seen.

Let me be content with this thought,

You are God, always besought,

On a higher plain You happen to be,

The plain where I too was brought.

You are Divine but not beyond,

David found You on Mount Zion,

In the rhythmic cadences of Quran,

And in my heart too, You belong.
