She wants to be understood,

This better half of mine,

Wants to be loved,

Demands all my time.

Several times I understood,

This better half of mine,

And showed how I loved her,

Responded quite fine.

She enjoys every moment,

relishes the joys,

And then starts nagging me

With talk that annoys.

She accuses me of what I am not,

Blames me for what she hasn't got,

Amazing to note how fast she changes,

And inflames me with silly exchanges:

"Why do you do this and why do you that?"

"It appears", she concludes that I am not her match.

It is hard to fathom what she really wants,

O my Creator, do respond to her taunts.
