she sits on the porch drinking soda and smoking a ciggaret

she looks over with a sad look on her face

as cars pass her by

I notice she holds in her screaming out cries

all she does is looks over at me and smiles

I smile back and start to look at her again

were is your friends why is she sad

should I go over and introduce myself

what will she say

so I walk up to her and say Hi

she begains to cry as she talks about her night

dumped by her boyfriend for another girl

friends left her hanging at a coffee house

and she had to walk home

I asked her why she is on the porch and not inside

she says this isn't my house I just stopped to rest

so I leave her and walk down the street

I keep thinking about her constantly

soon I arive at my house and I fall asleep

wondering if she is thinking of me

The next morning I wake and I read in the paper

Local girl found dead

the body of a young girl was found bellow the bridge

police say it was suicide

authorites say they found a note that said

I don't mean to cause anymore damage

i don't want to make someone sad

so i'll jump off this bridge and end it

and bellow the letter she writes

thank you to that boy

who gave me one last happy thought

I sit shocked I start crying in tears

i can't believe she is gone

i can't believe her last thoughts were of me

the next day there is a local report

a man was found dead inside his home

police said he died of gunshot to the head

authories believe it was suicide

a note was left beside

it read

to the whole world

i killed myself to be with this one girl who i made happy

i don't want her to be sad where she is going

but I want to be by herside

I want to hold her so she doesn't cry

and to all the people i know
