Your Hollywood

For this book I sold my soul

For this all for this

And for what so you can look down on my life

Try to relate laugh at my stupid mistakes

Who cares anyways were all fake

Lets look at your mistakes

Living this life Hollywood has made

Only beautiful if your skinny with only hate for yourself

Drugs so far up there nose

Hearts stoping from overdose

What have we become

Look at what we have made

Laws make us slaves

More prisons than homes

One by one caged and forgotton

Murder for murder its unheard of

I cant belive what we have become

Every street block theres another gun shop

Next to the ABC store

Behind that you can find your 15 year old daughter that we call whore

Your son is supplying the reason why the kid next door is dying

Theres no one left to trust in the end

Theres more law suits than friends

Money is your love you have forgotten that beautiful child

You promised the day but work has made you a lie

All i can see is mammas crys

Because you work late in bed in she can read it in your eyes

Pills every night so she can sleep

Drinks instead of eats to fit your Hollywood profile

Its sad to see so many people fall

But i cannot forget

How can when I live in this shit

How can you its inside your own home

When your left with nothing to live for maybe you will be able to see

Until then go ahead and laugh at me

i love this poem so much. someone needed to say this really badly and you did an awesome job. it's so sad that the world is like this but it's so true. it reminds me of the lyrics,
'Hollywood can fall in the ocean, man, cause it's the ugliest place in the whole wide world.'
My favourite line in this was
'Your son is supplying the reason why the kid next door is dying' i'm not sure why, it was just very striking and the ryming worked well.
Sorry for such a long comment, but this poem is awesome.
