i'm seeing the world,

with my eyes closed,

all because love makes you blind,

you chose to see only what you want to see,

hear only what you want to hear,

do only what you think you're suppose to do,

some might call you a fool,

but how can they speak ,

knowing that one time in their lives,

they were probably the same,

or even worse off than me,

even though i'm in love with you,

i no longer choose to be blind,

i have to see the situation for what it really is,

i have to continue to hear the words of everyone who knows you,

the words of everyone who knows me,

everyone saying,

don't be so nieve,

open your eyes too see,

that you're not happy,

you've been infected with a disease,

a thing called love,

so i turn and say,

what, a thing called love has infected me,

how dare you tell me anything,

fix your marriage,

your addiction,

your down falls,

fix your fuckin' life,

before you start fuckin' with me,

don't you see,

i know i'm blind,

cause love has infected me,

damn....have you stopped to think,

that maybe i don't want to see,

that maybe my eyes are open to see,

but i choose to ignore it,

just leave me alone,

and let me be,

cause like i said,

i know i'm blind,
