Time

Time Is Like A Flowing Creek,

It Is In Constant Motion.

Everything Revolves Inside,

It's Vaster Than An Ocean.

Time It Waits For No One,

And Time You Can't Command.

Sometimes You Wish That It Would Stop,

If You Were To Demand.

Time Sometimes It Goes So Slow,

It's Pace You Wish Would Quicken.

Sometimes It Moves So Much Too Fast,

The Speed I Know Can Sicken.

Time Well Spent Is Such A Treat,

Can Make You Feel So Happy.

But When You Feel You've Wasted Time,

You Can Feel Pretty Crappy.

When You Are Old And Looking Back,

On How You're Time You've Spent.

You'll Look At All The Years Gone By,

And Wonder Where They Went.

Frank, This is a great poem! Some very GOOD thoughts here. I recently wrote a poem about similiar subject, I am 27 and wrote a poem from my "old woman's" perspective titled Evidence. Read it if you get a chance. This was wonderful. I think it is good and healthy for people to think about what they have done with the time and the life that they are given. "Little by little time goes by, short of you sing, long if you sigh" Again, great thoughts and a very good poem!
