For No Crime Done

Folder:
FINAL

What is this?

A man of innocence

judged by a pigment

behind the bars

For no crime done

no evidence clear

no eye witness

no smoking gun.

What is this?

A man declared

he wasn't near her

he couldn't have been.

His alibi

lost in the pile

of papers scattered

on an old man's desk.

A statement

the media frenzy

a life prolonged

by one appeal?

What is this?

This is justice?

A man of innocence

behind the steel.
