My heart has broken yet again

It has been torn asunder

But through it all

Deep within myself

I know I'll always love her

Not the kind of love

Reserved for a lover

But the love of a dear friend

Someone you can talk to about anything

Who'll be there for you till the end

I already miss

This beautiful young woman

More than she'll ever know

I miss hearing about her life

And about the music that she loves

I miss hearing about her friends

And whether or not there's

A guy she has her eye on

I just can't stand not talking to her

but there's nothing that can be done

And to this sweetheart

I say "I love you oh, so much"

Don't cry, don't fret

You beautiful young lady

Someday, some way

We'll once again be in touch.
