If I had another chance tonight,

I'd try and tell you that the things we had were right.



I need to grow up and I need to be calm,

Because I know being with you brings no harm.



We do we still try if you know the ending?

Why do you still like me if your heart needs mending?



I've done the damage, and I deserve what I get,

But I feel like we're married, and with no regret.



I think we need a break and you know it too,

I'll still be here, always loving you.



Wait for me 'til then, wait for the time,

Wait for the day you'll be permently mine.
