Rush Hour

too many people

can't take so many

Noisy crowded subway

(world?)

no peace

it's rushing by

too quickly

violently - the subway (life?)

Oh, but what a happy child I just saw

amidst this faceless crowd.

Children are our comfort,

they see the world the way it should be

so innocent - but so watchful!

No more do I want to sleep.

I want to watch the children in their joy.

Oh subway, stop shaking.

Don't throw us off.

Bring us safely Home.

I like your writing, full of emotion, it's easy to see your angst at the world and it's robotlike, metallic machine action. It's easy to lose view of the good things among a sea of filth
