You have no idea what I'd be without you

I would have little life, for I'd only fall through

but where would you fall, what would you be

if you couldn't have the presents of me

If I could not feel the heat of your skin

to not hear your laugh when you smile and grin

If I could not touch the soft of your lip

or lay by your side, sleeping hip to hip

without my baby I'd be all but glad

I'd be falling apart and forever live sad.

though what would you be if I weren't around

would it tear you apart, would it bring you down

if you couldn't run your fingers through my hair

or if you turned around and I wasn't there

If your hands couldn't touch the soft of my thigh

or hold my waist, would you break down and cry

honey you are my world, look can you see

driving down the road, your hand on my knee

your kiss on my lips and my hand in your hair

I wish you could see how much that I care

baby to me you are the reason I try

the moon in the night and the sun in the sky

promise me this, you will hold on real tight

and lay side by side, sleep together each night
