Saratoga Strings

Saratoga strings moaned every time she played

Her teary-eyed blues softened my sunny skies

enlightening my day

I felt rejuvenated

In every chord

I was revived

Her song touched my soul

As the melody groaned and cried

My world in silence stood still

My heart made a thumping beat

Dreams forgotten became real

When Saratoga played for me

Oh Saratoga plucked those moaning strings

Played her song from morn till noon

As I lie on my sick bed revitalized

Singing to her life bringing tune
